That Wanaka Tree Autumn Sunrise

April 15, 2026 – This is one of two locations we revisited this year that we also went to on our 2019 trip to New Zealand. We stayed in Wanaka 4 nights and the first morning we made it a point to get up early and be at That Wanaka Tree for sunrise. Would have liked to include more of the beach on the left side but the beach was occupied by about 200 of my “new best friends”. A fresh blanket of snow covers Mount Aspiring / Tititea,
