April 12, 2022, 6:30 p.m. — Red Rock Crossing is one of the best-known locations for viewing Sedona’s beautiful red-rock landscape. It is also a popular location for photographing Cathedral Rock reflected in and framed by Oak Creek. I sought out this location because I thought the broad panoramic scene would make an ideal subject for one of my wall murals.

This focus-stacked panorama was photographed with a Canon EOS R5 and Canon lens at 300mm, f/11, 1/25 sec., ISO 100. It was created from 924 focus-bracketed photographs, which were processed into 76 individual focus-stacked images. The panorama consists of 4 rows × 19 columns, photographed in portrait orientation with approximately 30% overlap.

Print Sizes and Mounting Options

  • Standard Plaque prints are available in four finish choices. Finishes are acid-free and ultraviolet (UV) light protected, shielding them against fading and deterioration, and can be wiped down with water or ammonia-free cleaners.
  • We highly recommend Metalized Paper for prints, plaques and PlexiPlaq products. This special paper does an excellent job of bringing out the detail in the photographs.
  • All of our plaques are produced by Duraplaq on photo-quality high-density boards. Numerous mounting styles and edge treatments are available.
  • Approximate lead time for shipping prints is two to three weeks. Plaque mounts and other options are approximately three to four weeks.
