Bryce Canyon Sunset Point

October 4, 2018, 3:32 PM. At the time it was created, this was the second-largest gigapixel panorama I had photographed. Mid-afternoon sunlight cast dramatic shadows across the hoodoos of Bryce Canyon, revealing the intricate forms of the canyon and the numerous hiking trails winding through it. On the right, a few small aspen trees were brilliant red with fall color.

This panorama was photographed with a Canon 5DS R and Canon 70–200mm lens at 200mm, using f/11, 1/50 second and ISO 200. The finished image was assembled from 168 individual photographs, captured as 6 rows × 28 columns with approximately 25% overlap.

Print Sizes and Mounting Options

  • Standard Plaque prints are available in four finish choices. Finishes are acid-free and ultraviolet (UV) light protected, shielding them against fading and deterioration, and can be wiped down with water or ammonia-free cleaners.
  • We highly recommend Metalized Paper for prints, plaques and PlexiPlaq products. This special paper does an excellent job of bringing out the detail in the photographs.
  • All of our plaques are produced by Duraplaq on photo-quality high-density boards. Numerous mounting styles and edge treatments are available.
  • Approximate lead time for shipping prints is one week. Plaque mounts and other options are approximately two weeks.

The above sizes and mounting options are a small subset of the overall mounting options we offer.
