March 21, 2020. 5:00 PM. — I had visited this park a few years ago before perfecting my skills at doing Focus Stacked Gigapixel Panoramic Photos. The panoramas I shot then were lacking in the fact that there are just so many interesting subjects to include in a photo from very close to the far horizon. I was unable to capture in a large panorama, the full Depth of Field that I wanted. When planning this visit I had decided that I would do a Focus Stacked Panorama and attempt to capture everything in the scene with tack sharp focusing. This image is the result of my efforts.

This image was shot with Canon 5DSR, Canon 70-200mm lens @135mm, f/11, 1/125th sec. exposure, ISO 100. It is made up of 45 focus stacked images, 3 rows x 15 columns 25% overlap in portrait orientation. Each focus stacked image is made up of 13 different focal distances from 6 ft to beyond the Hyper Focal Distance of 176 ft. requiring a total of 585 individual images needed to create this image.. Photo Stacking was done using Helicon Focus Pro ver. 7.6.1 and stitching was done with Kolor Autopano Giga.

  • Standard Plaque prints are available in four Finish Choices. Finishes are acid-free and ultra violet (UV) light protected, shielding it against fading and deterioration and can be wiped down with water or any ammonia-free cleaners.
  • We highly recommend the Metalized Paper for prints, plaques and PlexiPlaq products. This special paper does an excellent job of bringing out the detail of the photos.
  • All of our plaques are produced by Duraplaq on photo quality High Density boards. Numerous Mounting Styles are available along with many Edge Treatments.
  • Approximate lead time for shipping of Prints is 1 week. Plaque mounts and other options 2 weeks.
