Sept. 28, 2025 – Multnomah Falls had long been on my list of must photograph for one of my wall mural photos. We planned our fall 2025 tour of the Pacific Northwest to pass by this location. Multnomah Falls is a waterfall located on Multnomah Creek in the Columbia River Gorge, east of Troutdale, between Corbett and Dodson, Oregon, United States. The waterfall is accessible from the Historic Columbia River Highway and Interstate 84. Spanning two tiers on basalt cliffs, it is the tallest waterfall in the state of Oregon at 620 ft in height. The Multnomah Creek Bridge, built in 1914, crosses below the falls, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

This panorama consists of 540 individual 45 mega-pixel focus stacked images derived from 8050 focus bracketed images. It shot with Canon R5 at f/11, 1/125th second exposure time and ISO 400 using a 300mm focal length on Canon 100-400mm lens. It turned out to be the largest, highest resolution photo in my entire portfolio.
