Longs Peak Dusted in Snow

On Oct, 2, 2012 I hiked past this location on my way back from Emerald Lake. An early fall snow storm had dusted the mountain tops the weekend before. The afternoon light was illuminating the snow very nicely. Longs Peak at 14,259 ft. looms in the center. Hounds Tooth Ridge and Chiefs Head at 13,579 to the right. Mount Lady Washington peeks up just to left of Longs. In high resolution view, zooming in on the peak gives a good view of the famous “Key Hole”.
