Oct 3, 2025 – My friend John and I had gone to the Emerald Bay area to shoot some sunrise shots. While I was shooting another location he hiked around and found this view of Emerald Bay. He called me on my phone and told me I needed to come up and have a look. When I got there and saw the nearly perfectly mirrored surface I quickly sat up for this shot before the morning light disappeared.
