Aug. 23, 2022. 7:15 AM. — Chautauqua Park is a popular hiking area for the folks around Boulder. Even though I only live about 14 miles away, I had never been hiking in Chautauqua Park. I had seen snap shots take in the area and thought it would be an excellent location to shoot one of my focus stacked wall mural panoramas. I had been watching for a good weather window for several weeks and this day looked promising so I drove there before sunset and hiked up into the park. Conditions were almost perfect with dead calm winds, early morning golden light and typical clear blue skys Colorado is known for.
This is an focus stacked image shot bracketed with Canon R5, Canon 300mm lens, f/11, 1/125th sec. exposure, ISO 400. It is made up of 1564 individual Focus Bracketed images processed to yield 175 individual Focus Stacked images, 7 rows x 25 columns 30% overlap in portrait orientation.
